There are two services you'll need for a working site - a domain name plus a website hosting plan for it. Any time you type the domain in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded in the hosting account, but if that domain name is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it could be forwarded to some other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and ensure that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted Internet domain within your account. You can also park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain addresses with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website as a way to protect a brand name.

If you would like to host any of your parked domains, it takes simply a mouse click to do it and our system is going to do the rest - changing the name servers, setting up a domain folder in your account, setting up the required DNS records, etc. For easier control, you'll be able to filter the domain names registered within the account by their status - parked or hosted.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we offer you are going to have the ability to park as many domain addresses that are registered through our company as you wish. Since only the registrar company can offer a parking function, you can't park domain addresses which are only hosted on our leading-edge cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting CP you can park and un-park domains with as little as a couple of clicks and filter all domains you have by their status, for much easier administration. We offer several different templates that you can use and if you want to, you could also add some custom text to any of them.
